Product Description

Difficulty Rating: Beginner

These handsome cargo shorts have a fun and simple design that will be a perfect addition to any spring or summer outfit! How happy your son will be when he finally has something made by mom too! Use cotton or corduroy and let your imagination take you away! The sky is the limit now let’s see what YOU can do with it!

This pattern is created with the same rise in the front and in the back for a more modest look.  If you prefer a more modern, low rise front, you can use the blog below to achieve that look!

How to adjust the rise of your pieces.

Here is what you receive:

Measurements for sizes 6-12 mos. to 8 boys.

Thorough, uncomplicated step-by-step instructions accompanied by color photos that allow you to follow along with ease from start to finish.

Computer drawn pattern pieces you can print over and over again; no more patterns that rip or tear!

Please note that PDF patterns differ from traditional sewing patterns, and not all PDF designers have the same style. We prefer to give measurements for simple rectangles instead of rectangular pattern pieces to save your time, paper, ink, and tape. You will only receive pattern pieces for curved portions of the garment, and you will follow the cutting chart for the remaining pieces.

This pattern is very well written. Easy to put together and a quick sew!

  2. Always leave them wanting more! 5 Star Review

I made two pair of these for my son and 2 pair for my cousin's baby last summer. They are a quick sew and my son constantly asks me when I'm making him some more. ;) (My cousin's baby is just now big enough for the pairs I made him.)

  3. Quick, easy pattern 5 Star Review

This was the first time I've used a pattern I've downloaded like this and was concerned how it would work out, but it was very easy to sew with easy to understand directions. Can't wait to try out others!
