Overall, these shorts are easy to make. They don't take much time and can easily be completed in a day. The directions have a couple spots that are a bit confusing and all the ruffles are the most time consuming, but I'd say it's a great pattern.

Ah, I just love these ruffled shorts! They look a bit intimidating but the tutorial is really easy to follow.

The Ruffles took me a little bit to get down, but the results are well worth it. I'm a beginner so I would think for a more experienced seamstress these shorts would be very easy to complete. These will work well with any outfit and I have gotten a lot of compliments on them when I'm out with my daughter.

This,was,a,little challenging because of all the ruffles, but once I figured out how,to deal with them it wasn't terribly hard.

I wanted these cute frilly shorts, but was worried it was too difficult. When they went on sale I decided to give it a shot. I am so glad I did. They are oober easy!! The instructions are written so well.

Very unique shorts with unique ruffles - great pattern!

My daughter saw this pattern and said that "she needed it" lol. I made her a pair of these this morning with a soft pink and white fabric and they are simple adorable. Very easy sew with a more than simple outcome. These pair great with most tops. I will be making more asap!

For the 2 and under sizes, I would suggest only 2 ruffles. The top riffle of 3 is very hard to handle and doesn't even show! But the instructions were wonderfully easy to follow!

This will become your go-to pattern for last minute shorts. Super cute, super easy, and quick!
