Just made this for a little girl for a Disney Princess Ball she will be attending. Mom was head over hills when she saw the finished product! This design is perfect especially because of the layers of ruffles and the sweetheart neckline bodice.

This dress is just beautiful and, like so many CKC patterns, can be made as simple or as elaborate as you'd like!! The patterns are easy to follow -- I frequently find the hardest part is picking all the fabric!!!! This pattern is really simple as well and I feel confident anyone could be successful if they followed the pattern well!! I love CKC!!!

I have made the full on Larkin and well as the simple, and often use the bodice to mash with other CKC patterns. Easier to sew than it look and really makes an impression

I bought this pattern to make my daughter an OTT Monster High dress and she was thrilled with the end result! The ruffles get time-consuming but the extra effort is so worth it. I had no issues following the instructions and step-by-step photos. Larkin is my pattern of choice when I want to make a statement, and a tutu or pettiskirt worn under it really showcases the dress's beauty.
What a great pattern. I made a farm theme one and couldnt be happier. I think this is a very easy pattern. Beautiful final product. I even used the bodice of these and combined it with other create kids couture dresses.
I am so happy I purchased this pattern! I am not a very experienced sewer and I was able to follow this pattern and even do the fancy version, it was an amazing gift to be able to give. The step by step instructions made it easy for me to create this gorgeous little dress! I love that the elastic in the back allows it to fit them perfect and can grow with them a little.

Special dress for any occasion! You can make it fancy or simple. I love how detailed the pattern is, makes it super easy to follow. And the way it all comes together, when you feel the dress when it's done, it's better than the stores! You won't regret having this pattern!

Was my very first large project. Made a fancy Larkin for a Christmas dress . Although I did mess up a couple times and had to familiarize myself with my ripper, it came out so well. My daughter has worn it at least once a week since Christmas!
As I was making this dress, I didn't see how it would all come together. the pieces seemed to big or to long for my tiny girl wearing the 24month/2t size, but the closer to the end I got, the more excited I became until, at the very end, I was up until 4am finishing it and I'm so glad I did!! It's gorgeous and my baby girl did NOT want to take it off, she LOVED it!!!! I made the really fancy version, and plan on making the party version and the simple version ASAP!
I loved sewing up the Larkin! The pattern is so easy to follow and the final product is gorgeous! Ive made a fancy and 2 simple Larkins and see many many more of these cute little dresses going together in our future :) I adore the sweetheart neckline and love how it fits my little one. I made a Fancy Larkin for my 5 year old's princess themed birthday party at a local Children's Museum. It was a big hit! So many strangers came up to us and asked about it. If you are looking for a statement piece that guarantees to be a head turner, this dress is it. I love the minimal pattern pieces and the ability to mix and match so many fabrics. She takes pictures at school tomorrow and has already declared that she's wearing this dress!

I love the fancy dress version! If you are up in the air about buying this pattern, just do it! I waited quite some time before I gad enough courage to buy and make it. Like all ckc patterns the instructions are very easy to understand..definitely one of my favorite patterns(and my daughters)!

This was my first time EVER sewing. I did the party dress, thinking I may as well go all in. And I am so glad I did. Following the pattern was easy, with wonderfully simple directions. Even being a total novice I had no problem understanding what the next step was. I am so glad I learned about CKC patterns!!! Love!!!
Looking at the fabric needs, I thought this was going to be very complicated to piece and sew, but it isn't! Don't let the layers scare you. This dress looks harder than it is. It's just beautiful!

I don't know if I can say love enough with this dress! It is more than amazing. I was looking for a dress that would make my baby girl look and feel like a princess, this dress did that! She got a dress that had Minnie and My Little Pony's on it, without it looking stupid. I love this dress and my baby girl loved this dress! I will definitely be making this dress again! It was also very easy to alter the pattern to fit her very small frame.

I only use PDF patterns, and this was hands down the BEST written pattern I have ever purchased. The dress is stunning of course, but what I loved most was how clear the instructions were.
My lovies feel like absolute princesses in this amazing fancy dress... And best part is the elastic casing in back will allow the dress to grow w so we get tons of wear!!!

Oh the awesomeness I created w this pattern...I went all out and did the fancy version and it is a show stopper!!! Love the elastic casing in back so it will grow w my lovies...only tip w this is to make sure you really get the sleeve gather tight and you will Def get that princess, off the shoulder, cap sleeve look!!!

Here is what I liked:
1. The numerous possibilities that I can make with this one pattern. It's 3 different dresses in one!
2. Easy to follow instructions. It gave me confidence in my sewing abilities!
3. The mock shirred back. I wasn't ready to tackle shirring, but by God I can see an elastic casing.
4. The Twirl factor. The simple version twirls beautifully, which my girls love!
So this pattern gets an A+ from me!!

I absolutely love this dress! I made two of them for my girls Easter dresses and they are perfect. The pattern is really easy to follow and its an easy dress to make. My 3 year old specifically wanted a dress that "sticks out" (poofy). This one certainly poofs out (I made the fancy party dress version). We couldn't go two steps at church without another person complimenting their dresses. This pattern is a keeper!
I made the simple version for both my daughters. They love them!! I haven't made the fancy and party versions yet but I'm more than pleased at the directions!! Easy to follow.
I love this one and the fact that it combines great features from many different CKC patterns. Between the sweetheart neckline, the fixed sleeves, elastic back, skirt options, and pickup(s) in the skirt, this is truly a treasure.
I have only done the simple version but love this dress, it looks amazing on my daughter and I am happy that it allows for more coverage on the back.

I made the simple one for a neighbor's Hawaii vacation. It was just that...simple and quick. Many of the dresses take me 2-3 days - this one I cut and completed b/t noon and dinner. It's so cute, straight forward directions and I love the elastic in the back b/c I have so much trouble with Shirring. Hope you have fun making this one.
