Made same shorts for granddaughters. Then my daughter decided she needed a pair. The girls shorts were a little long so we turned the up to show the lining/contrasting fabric. The lady's when turned up were a little too short. My daughter is young and small so she can get away with them being short. Next time I will add some length for her.
I really like my Madeline shorts! I love that they're reversible, so it's like getting two looks in one garment! I love the flat front. I did have some trouble figuring out done steps, so read the pattern very carefully! These fit me well, according to my measurements.
