    fantastic pattern!

I had an idea in my head of what I wanted my daughter's dress to look like and had been searching high and low for a pattern to help me complete the look. I finally found this one and knew it would be perfect! I love it

    My first CKC

Posted by betty Lux on 2nd Jun 2015

This is the first CKC pattern (and first PDF pattern) I ever made. I loved it then and I love it still. One of my girls' favorite versions of this dress used lace for the ruffles and it's the perfect princess dress. The instructions are clear enough and well explained enough for a beginner to follow. Shirring takes some practice, but if you don't like it you can always mash the bodice with another CKC bodice that doesn't require shirring.

    Penelope Luv!

Posted by Sandra Kramer on 2nd Jun 2015

This was the first CKC pattern I bought. Made it up for my grand daughter's 5th birthday. First PDF pattern ever! I've been sewing over 50 yrs using traditional patterns, I must say, these are WAY easier! I'm hooked!

    Perfect Princess Dress!

Posted by Melinda Tauler on 19th Mar 2015

As some of the other reviewers have said, this one would make a perfect princess costume! It reminds me of the Queen of Hearts from Alice in Wonderland, but is so versatile it could be made into any number of character costumes. Stunning dress!

I used this pattern for our daughter's Scarlett O'Hara BBQ dress and it was awesome. VERY easy to follow. I might even say for a beginner!
