Love those rompers!!

I'd totally suggest this pattern for anyone starting out with knits. It's a very easy pattern but it's so cute you won't believe how quickly it comes together. Love!

Adorable, comfy romper

My girls adore this romper. It is quick and easy to put together, and they find it so comfy that they even sleep in them sometimes. They love the romper jammies from Justice, and this has a very similar look. There is one thing I don't like about this pattern, and that is the straps. I had the same problem on the size 8 and the 12 months I made. I did the straps different on the 6, so I didn't have any issues. Both of the other rompers' straps will not stay up. This is because I used a knit with poor recovery and cut it where the stretch is lengthwise. It would have worked much better had I either not used a stretch fabric for the straps, made the straps tie, or use the straps from another romper, such as Farrah's, which I did on the size 6. I made them with knit, and they stay up and stay put. Looking at it now, It would also be adorable with the straps criss crossed in the back.
