I needed a new skirt pattern for my 6 year old granddaughter. I had made a shirt for my 3 yr old grandson, had a yard of left over fabric, so we added a coordinating yard. When she saw it she said, "I LOVE it!" That is awesome in itself.
I made my first 3 in a sew along. They were easy to do. I am already planning my granddaughter's next one.

Easy sew, no pattern pieces, looks amazing, AND it's knee length! Couldn't be happier with how it came out. My first time sewing buttonholes to fit actual buttons. We love this skirt! It's adorable, super easy to sew and goes together in minutes! My 4 year old was even able to sew this (with my help on the button holes/buttons). Make it casual. Make it elegant.
