    Sew Easy Skirt!

Posted by Debi Cooper on 22nd Mar 2021

I needed a new skirt pattern for my 6 year old granddaughter. I had made a shirt for my 3 yr old grandson, had a yard of left over fabric, so we added a coordinating yard. When she saw it she said, "I LOVE it!" That is awesome in itself.

I made my first 3 in a sew along. They were easy to do. I am already planning my granddaughter's next one.

I love everything about this skirt. Its length is perfect for school use, and I love all the buttons (or snaps). Easy to construct.

I'm in live with this skirt!

Posted by Christina on 1st Aug 2016

Easy sew, no pattern pieces, looks amazing, AND it's knee length! Couldn't be happier with how it came out. My first time sewing buttonholes to fit actual buttons. I was so nervou, but so glad I concured my fear because it was way easier than I thought! Now when I see a pattern with buttons I don't even hesitate! Thank you CKC for another wonderful pattern.

    Cute skirt!!

Love this skirt pattern!! It's a very fast sew and I love that I didn't have to print pattern pieces. This skirt looks cute paired with a store bought T-shirt or a momma made top. My daughter will be wearing hers back to school! Thanks for another great pattern!

Simple. Classy. Fun. All in one!

We love this skirt! It's adorable, super easy to sew and goes together in minutes! My 4 year old was even able to sew this (with my help on the button holes/buttons). Make it casual. Make it elegant. Make it a school uniform. Tie the bow in back or in front. Use buttons or snaps. Ribbon trim or pain. So many options!
