I treat Blaycie's like woven leggings and use them for everything. Although it is listed as an intermediate pattern, a basic Blaycie is easy peasy and great for a begging sewer. Great pattern to purchase if you are just building your pattern library
Great pattern for some cute pants. Love it.
I love this pattern. I only with they came in tweens and women's sizes too! :)
Comes together so quickly
I made a pair of denim Blaycie's that are so cute!! My youngest daughter's teacher, who is very used to seeing my girl in stuff I made, was even surprised and impressed. They fit her so well and I love the flat front/elastic back. My only wish is that this pattern sold in tweens (which I've heard might happen soon). These pants are so my tween's style and she, of course, wanted a pair as soon as she saw her little sisters.
I bought this pattern to go with a sew-a-long on Facebook. These little pants just flew together. So many options for embellishments. They were an instant hit.
These pants are so much fun. I love leggings, but really wanted some fitted pants using woven fabric. These turned out great and my daughter loves them.
These are a great closet staple, that doesn't take too much time to make.
I made these for my clients daughter out of Peanuts fabric for her bday party. Both mom and daughter loved them. The fit was great and they are a great transition from the cutesy-ruffle pants to a more sleek style (growing out of one style into another)!
This skinny pants pattern is great! The detail that the optional pockets and piping give make these a must have! There are fabulous instructions how to tailor the fit. If you're new to pockets and piping like I was don't let that keep you away from Blaycies, with the easy instructions and photos I made it through my first pair in a breeze! They are also perfect pants to add some ruffles to the bottom!
I made these pants for my two daughters and love them I am patiently waiting for a tween pattern!!
Easy sew and great fit on my long legged girl.
Overall, these pants are great. They're super cute and stylish. The rise and fit through the hips are a little small for girls with extra padding in the behind area, but you can easily size up and taylor to fit (explained in the pattern directions) and there is a blog post on how to adjust the rise.
love these easy to follow instrustions. Ready to make in a dash for time or a thought out project. These pants are so cute finished!
I love these pants! The fit is great based on standard sizing, but the added instructions on how to tailor fit them is perfect! I usually add ruffles to the bottom of mine for a little extra flair!
Love this pattern! Great for fall / winter as pants or in capri length for spring / summer. Goes together quickly. Well written pattern and super easy to follow.
So cute and a wonderful fit!
Finally an amazing skinny pants pattern for woven material! The piping really makes these pants stand out from so many others. Clear, detailed instructions with helpful photos, would definitely recommend this pattern.
These pants are the perfect break from super dressy when you need it. They have a good fit, and the piping in the design just makes for the cutest pair of pants you can sew up! One of my faves!
These were soooo much easier than I expected and I got the perfect fit the first time with the tips given for fit in the pattern. I made pockets for the first time and they were so easy. These have become my daughters favorite pants!
Pants that daughter actually likes to wear. She also loves the pockets on them. They are a quick sew if made without all the add-ons. Love the ability to have a truly custom fit for the wearer. I will definitely be a making lots of these.
I've always been afraid of trying pants. The instructions were easy to follow, and they came out super cute.
I was so happy that I purchased this pattern. I've always made pants for my son but I couldn't find any nice-fitting pants for my 8 year old daughter, until Blaycie came out! She is very picky, she hates wearing too tight jeans (jeggings), skiny jeans, leggings, or tights. I figured I'd try Blaycie pattern. The Pdf pattern was well-written with amazing step-by-step photos. I get intimidated with complicated patterns that has too many pockets, buttons, zippers....but not Blaycie! It was easy to follow and I loved the directions! Best part? She loved the pants! It was a great fit for her and she was comfortable wearing it and playing all day long. I used wale corduroy to make my first Blaycie. I ordered more fabrrics on Black Friday and I'm already planning on making more pants for winter. Thank you for making this pattern! Truly love it!
