My first Ckc pattern was a success!

Posted by Lori on 26th Jan 2015

I have bought download able patterns before and was disappointed . I have spent hours taping pattern pieces together, following unclear directions and getting poor fits. This pattern was different! Clear instructions, minimal printed pieces and great fit......what's not to LOVE! I will be making this pattern again!

    Perfect!

Love how easy it was and how the description for using store bought shirt was easy to work in as well! Took only a few hours to whip together!

    adorable pattern

I loved the pattern. I'm still new to sewing so there were certain things I got confused on but overall a great project. I tend to read into things too much I'm sure my next one will be easier :)

    Great pattern

I'm a major newbie to sewing and had a blast sewing this pattern. I cheated and used a store bought top. You can find instructions on how to do that in their blog.

    Neckline needs work

Posted by Rachael Grindley on 5th Dec 2014

Love this dress pattern I made 2 for my daughters. The whole thing turned out great except that my neck was 2 big on both causing the collar to stand up. I steamed the collar and it was still just too big. I felt like there might be a problem because I didn't have to stretch the collar at all when attaching it.

    pretty good dress

I like the final product of this dress very much but several times I felt I was guessing on what the step was actually saying to do. I fully appreciate the "tips for working with knit" at the beginning of the Pattern. Very helpful.

    great staple dress

Posted by kim on 7th Oct 2014

Made a Halloween dress for my first time using this pattern. I actually used a purchased shirt and it was very easy to adapt the pattern. Pattern directions were clear and easy to follow. I look forward to making a knit top with the dress as well as using this pattern much more for my daughter.
