Estella’s Flannel Nightgown was made for cool winter nights.  This sweet, classic style gown is reminiscent of times gone by.  The wide, snap or button front bodice was designed for comfort while sleeping.  Estella features long sleeves and a long, flowing skirt with a ruffle.  Estella means star, just like the ones that will be up in the sky while your little one sleeps peacefully in her new gown!

    Estella's nightgown

I enjoyed working with this pattern. It was well laid out, the pictures in the instructions were really helpful, especially with the bodice construction. The pattern printed and taped together brilliantly and I look forward to making up a few more of this for the other grands.

    Fit for a Princess!

Posted by Bridgette on 11th Mar 2020

I first made this pattern in November 2019 for my two-year-old. I used a soft flannel and it turned out beautifully. It was not the shortest sew ever, but the instructions are flawless and the pieces fit together nicely. Yesterday, I put the finishing touches on 3 more, all sewn in cotton lawn for spring. I made a 2, 6, and 14 as two were gifts. If quality fabric was more affordable, my daughter would have more of these. I can see making her two a year because I love the classic, princess look.
