    quick and easy

Posted by michelle on 9th Jun 2015

I made this dress in the ckc sew along group and it was so easy and so much fun! I did alter the straps because my daughter is only 1 1/2 and thought the straps were too big for her. I love how it turned out and plan on making one for my 5 year old with the original straps.

Love the pattern. Easy cut out and fast to see. I love the double ruffle bottom the most

    Wonderfully simply maxi

Posted by Unknown on 2nd Jun 2015

This is my tot's very first maxi, so I shortened it ever so slightly so that it hits just above her ankle. It's very cute and wonderfully simple though. My very first shirred item. I altered it so that the straps tie in the back instead of the tops of the shoulders because she undoes bows, but it's a great dress.

    Quick, easy sew

Posted by Lauri Meinhardt on 1st Jun 2015

Love this pattern. A very quick sew, with very easy to read instructions and photos. If you're afraid of shirring, don't be, CKC has tutorials and the FB group is always willing to answer any questions! This is a pattern that you can have a lot of fun with....many ways to make this 'your own' with a little imagination and can easily be made into a shorter version. You may want to buy the matching tween or adult dress as well!

    Maxi Heaven

This dress really helped me fine tune my shirring skills! It is perfect, and the directions are so easy to follow. CKC has awesome videos on you tube to help you conquer fear of shirring...and this dress is so worth it!
