    Addison for the birthday girl.

Posted by Sandy Kramer on 3rd Mar 2016

I absolutely love this dress pattern! I made a birthday princess dress for my 6 yr old granddaughter and it was a huge hit. I made a matching crown from the freebies too. She felt so special on her special day. Thanks for an awesome sew!

    lots of ruffles,super girly

Posted by Rmenda Crane on 3rd Nov 2015

I bought this and used it to make my daughter's rapunzel inspired birthday dress. takes alot of fabric . My daughter was measuring for a size 5 bodice piece but there is no way she could squeeze into that so I went with the sz 8 and it the dress is so "heavy" it kept slipping and didn't fit properly. I couldn't of gone any smaller in bodice and it still cover everything and length was perfect but its just really heavy even just using all cotton fabrics. The instructions were easy to follow, just sizing doesn't match up I find in some of the patterns. There is no way my 8 yr old can squeeze into a 5T according to their measurements. She needs a 8 to 10 in street clothes.

    Cute and fun

This dress is simple to sew up and the result is cute. I like that the straps tie at the back rather than on top of the shoulders.

Yes ruffles are time consuming but the dress was not hard at all! :)

    Best Princess Ever !

Posted by Sandra Kramer on 2nd Jun 2015

I made this dress into a princess outfit for my grand daughters 6th birthday along with the free crown pattern. And dancing ribbons! It was the hit of the party. Very easy, lovely ruffles. I added a tatted heart to the front bodice. She'll be wearing it to the Valhalla Renaissance Faire in South Lake Tahoe this weekend. She is sew excited!
