Adorable pocket design that adds flair
Easy to make shorts that are long enough to meet school dress codes. The pocket design allows for use of contrasting fabric choices that add flair to the finished product, while giving a boutique-like style with the use of scallops. I would have preferred the waistband instructions to include a hidden seam allowance on the inside of the garment but not a huge deal as it's not seen. I just prefer a little more finished look.
