However we now include templates for square and rectangle shaped pieces to cut and print out for those who prefer this option. As always, we will continue to include a cutting chart for those of you that choose to use a rotary cutter and ruler to cut your pieces. These rectangle and square pieces will have their own print saver chart, separate from the necessary shaped pieces chart.     This pattern is very simple to create. The directions are explained easily and even have pictures to add to the instructions. I would recommend this pattern to anyone!

    This dress is so easy and sweet! Love it for beginners and cute enough that the intermediate seamstress can whip out a bunch in no time effortlessly while looking like she has worked SEW hard. :)

    best pattern for a beginner

    I recently bought this patter to make my daughter's birthday dress. not only is it a great pattern it is also a easy sewing experience. this pattern is great for anyone who is just beginning all the way up to expert. from the time it took me to cut my fabric to sew the whole dress was with in at least 30 minutes. I will be purchasing the adults version and also the doll version of this pattern.I recommend this pattern if I could have gave it more than 5 stars I would have great job created kids culture.

    Love this pattern! No pattern pieces make it super easy to cut out and prepare, and it comes together very quickly. Can easily be dressed up with a little lace and the right fabric. I'll be making many of these!
