  • This pattern can be used with no pattern pieces only a cutting chart so no paper, ink, tape, or time wasted! However we now include templates for square and rectangle shaped pieces to cut and print out for those who prefer this option. As always, we will continue to include a cutting chart for those of you that choose to use a rotary cutter and ruler to cut your pieces. These rectangle and square pieces will have their own print saver chart, separate from the necessary shaped pieces chart.     If you're looking for a dress/top to start with, I'd suggest this one! It's a very fast sew, easy to follow tutorial and you'll want to make a ton of them!

    I am a very new sewer. This pattern was so easy and fun to make. I got stuck on the bodice part but the video tutorial was wonderful a d walked me right threw it. This is my go to pattern for a fast sew. Love it.

    No need for a printer or fussy pattern pieces. This easy dress is easy to cut out and sew. Plus it's easy to customize. Hattie was my first CKC pattern to try and it won me over quickly! I recommend it to all my friends starting out in sewing clothing.

    The Hattie dress and top is a great pattern for beginners. The dresses and tops that result are super cute and very versatile. Easy to dress up or dress down. We love it!

    Overall a decent pattern

    I purchased this recently and made a very quick dress for a little girl. I found the straps to be just a little bit narrow so I made them wider. I also did the skirt with a large band across the bottom. Overall the recipient was thrilled but I agree regarding the price. Perhaps a little steep for what I got.
