Wonderful with a smoking panel
This is a perfect pattern for smocking an insert bodice panel for the front. Breaking the front panel at the waist, I smocked the a rectangle of fabric 3 time the width of the pattern. Made a size 2 and size 7 for my granddaughters and they are smashing!

This dress is awesome! No buttons, Zippers or elastic! Great for using panel fabrics or any fabric you want to showcase! Great for dads to since the back and the front are the same!
