Poppy's Peekaboo Dress was the first tie-back bodice of its kind! Since its release and immediate explosion into the boutique world in 2013, others have tried to recreate this iconic bodice, but you can't beat an original! This adorable dress was designed for spring and summer, but many have layered it with a long sleeve shirt and ruffle pants and it's even cute for fall and winter! Besides the tie-back, this pattern also features a sweetheart shaped front bodice, elastic back waist, and a double layer skirt with different peekaboo options.  This pattern can also be created as a single layer skirt or a double layer without the peekaboo option. The babies pattern includes a closed back version since a knot on the back may be uncomfortable to babies who spend most of their time on their backs. This pattern works best with wovens, but many have upcycled t-shirts to use as the bodice (tutorial HERE). Get creative with rayon challis or lace to create that one-of-a-kind, fun, yet girlie, outfit your daughter or boutique customers will love! The sky is the limit now let’s see what YOU can do with it!

Clear, easy to follow directions and lots of helpful pictures. The finished dress is gorgeous and doesn't take long at all to sew up.

I made the first dress in the Tween size, and it was super easy, with a lot of room for improvising. I just bought the second pattern in the toddler size for my other niece, and the possibilities for variation are endless. Awesome pattern!

I love this dress pattern. The first time I made it I made a few simple mistakes. I emailed CKC and they helped me figure out what I did wrong. It is beautiful. I have made several for my daughter's.

    Poppy is amazing!

This pattern went together so easy. The directions are easy to follow too! The only complaint I had was the back bodice didn't seem finished being a single piece. But other than that it's a very well put together pattern. I am so happy I broke down and made the purchase. Thank you! It won't be the last pattern i buy from ya'll!

I was a little intimidated at first. I started cutting the material out and got excited. It was easy to sew even with 2 kids running around. My husband went to take a nap and woke up to a completed dress lol. I'm ready to go shop for more fabric, bring on the next Poppy
