Shannon's Faux Wrap Top, Dress, and Maxi is a classic piece that every woman should have in their reportoire! This beautiful, knit bodice, features gathered sides to help the bodice fit your bust better; no more trying to decide it if goes over or under your bust. Choose from a top length, cocktail dress length, knee dress length, midi dress length, or maxi dress length in your favorite knit fabric. We also teach you how to add an elastic option for a more form fitting dress. This flattering dress is perfect for comfortable work wear during the day and can easily transition to a night out. This pattern also include short, ¾ or long sleeves, as well, as pockets!!!

great directions - easy to follow
The directions for the dress were great and easy to follow. I will make the bodice about 2 inches longer the next go around but the rest fit great.

Shannon’s Women’s Faux Wrap
Oh my heavens!!! Love love love this pattern. have made this dress for my sister twice. Both times, have used a solid fabric for the top & a coordinating fabric for the bottom. Of note, when using a cotton knit for the top & bottom, had to size it up for my sister as the fit was different than using a lighter weight jersey fabric.

First PDF and I’m converted!
Whole thing was easy from start to finish. Easy to download and print. Even the lining up and sticking together was painless. Really simple to sew andirons and fits! So much simpler than the big commercial patterns.

I love this dress. The fact that I can get the look of wrap style without the actual wrap is great! Directions are super easy to follow.

The perfect Faux Wrap Dress
I NEVER review patterns, so for me to review this is saying something. I always have to muslin every pattern I make. 9 times out of 10 I will need to do a major adjustment. So, I always muslin. I made the Shannon the first time and it fit perfectly. I fell in love immediately. The crossover doesn’t hit at a funny spot. I didn’t need to do a FBA which I usually have to. The length was spot on. The directions were very easy and understandable. This pattern gets 5 stars just for the fact I didn’t have to do a FBA. It also is not too low which I struggle with with many crossover/wrap patterns. I absolutely love it!
