Spirit Skirt A-Line

Spirit’s Cheer and Parade Skirt is one pattern that is perfect for every occasion. Spirit’s has four different options allowing versatility and a custom fit. Choose either A-line or Pleated, then chose regular or fitted. Instructions to add your own color blocking and cheer trim included! The skirt has optional built in shorts underneath making this perfect for modesty and those who like to jump, tumble, and kick. This pattern is a must have for everyone whether they are pageant girls, tomboys, or athletes.
*Regular A-line: The classic, modern day cheer skirt. This sleek skirt offers enough flare for movement. This style is perfect for cheer, tennis, ice skating or even golf teams. Pair it with a t-shirt for an everyday look or a tankini for fun in the water.
*Fitted A-line: The fit of this skirt restricts movements, but gives a clean line perfect to pair with a pageant bodice for crowing. Use it as a parade skirt or for casual appearances.
*Regular Pleated: This skirt is patterned after 50’s retro cheer skirts. This offers the maximum amount of movement and is perfect for tumbling and gymnastics. If creating the skirt with two colors of fabric, this option will show case the secondary color best.
*Fitted Pleated: This is a modern version of the pleated skirt. It’s perfect for school uniforms. Choose a solid or plaid fabric and make a skirt perfect for school. Choose secondary accent colors and add cheer trim to make this a skirt your girl will wear over and over again.

I made a fitted A-line skirt and love it! The pattern was well-written making the skirt very easy to construct. Though it is labeled as an intermediate pattern, it really was not difficult to sew. Can't wait to try the other options
