    this leotard is ADORABLE!

I really like this pattern, honestly. I was worried it would be hard working with slippery fabrics, but it's not nearly as challenging as I'd feared. I have made two and my hearts are much neater and smoother on my second one, as it took me a bit to get the hang of stitching them down nicely. They double as really cute swimsuits too, as is for my little one (3 years old), though I think of it made my older daughter one in swim knit I'd simply line it for better coverage. I may even try other shape cutouts as I get more brave!

I recently purchased this pattern to create a small mermaid outfit. With the simplicity of the pattern it made it easy to "hack" into the other item I wanted. It turned out great. This pattern was simple to do even in the smaller size.
