Century's High Waisted Elastic & Paperbag Pants,
Well, not what I had hoped for. I refuse to waste time and fabric making these. The pattern is supposed to offer both paper bag AND elastic waist pants. All I see is a convouted shaped waist that must be the "paper bag" part, but I don't see anything that looks like normal plain high waisted elastic waist pants option. And what is with that pocket? Short and squatty! Plus the layout being landscape wastes an incredible amount of paper for the smaller sizes. I am petite but not short waisted. However given the rise in this draft, I would have to cut it at the "short waisted" line and I'd still probably have to make adjustments. I guess extra small to the drafter meant extra slim but not petite in stature. With all the adjustments I'll have to make, I'd have been better off buying a cheap McCalls from Joanns. At least if it didn't fit, I wouldn't be out a lot of money. Horribly dissappointed as I needed to make a simple pair of pull on leisure pants and this SOUNDED like from the description that it should fit the bill. If you are looking for basic elastic waist pants keep driving. I bought two other patterns with this one. I hope they aren't as bad.

Paper bag Pants
My 12 year old granddaughter couldn’t find paper bag pants to fit her preteen shape. Searching patterns I discovered CKC. With her measurements, I shortened the crotch length on the small a bit. My ‘muslin’ was a perfect fit with a peach skin polyester from JoAnn’s. Now to find the right fabric for a nice pair. She was thrilled.

Fantastic pattern!
I made Century's during the new along. I would say this is a good pattern if you have never made bottoms before. Goes together easily. Will be making more of these.

Great pants
I seldomly make myself pants because my waist and hip size vary greatly. I took a chance with these pants and boy am I glad I did. It was easy to grade between sizes to get the perfect fit. Now I have pants that are customized just for me.
