Hi, this pattern was easy for a beginner and I will make them again, however, I can't say that I am totally impressed. There is a lack of the professional touch, in relation to finishing seams and pressing. Also, as much as I understand the desire to save on paper, if a pattern doesn't contain all pattern pieces, and I have to create my own from tracing paper, I am really turned off buying again. That is just me. I guess in this day and age of PDF patterns, and all that is available these days, one grows to expect a certain standard. The price wasn't astronomical, however, the standard didn't warrant the cost.

My daughter HATES anything but dresses. These are some of the only shorts I can get her to wear. She LOVES the pockets and fit. I love the paper sack waist and that I can use a bunch of scrap fabric to create unique looks. Win win.

I LOVE these shorts, and so does my daughter (POCKETS!) I know I'll be making this pattern again and again. It doesn't take a whole lot of fabric, and can be made with scraps or a few fat quarters.

These shorts turn out super cute. We love the length, and my daughter loves the pockets! The rise is a little low for girls who have extra padding in the behind area, but there is a blog post with a tutorial to adjust that, so no worries!

First short pattern and I love it
This pattern is great you can mix and match 1, 2, 3 or more different fabric choices for an awesome over all look. Sometimes I like more than just the standard 2 tone shorts and this pattern gives you options. They pair up great with almost anything you put with them. Did I mention they have HUGE pockets!! My daughter loves pockets and you would be surprised what I find in them. :o). I will make these for years to come. They look great on, whether they are 12months or 12years.

These shorts are super cute, but the first time I made them, I tried the paper bag waist in size 2T for my diaper wearing toddler. The shorts only came halfway up the back so I had to get my seam ripper out and put in a regular elastic casing with the same paper bag waist cutting line. They worked perfectly like that and we love them!

These are very possibly my favorite shorts pattern of all. Versatile and easy to sew. I used this adorable pattern to make coordinating shorts for a top. I desperately wanted an accent of eyelet to go on the shorts, so I used eyelet and white for the pockets and leg bands. It turned out PERFECT! I will definitely be making these again...over and over again.
