my first creation was a success!

I purchased this skirt to make for my daughter that is very narrow. It was easy to modify the design to accommodate her frame. Will be making more!

A fantastic easy pattern! So much fun to make and once you do one they become addictive! Love the opportunity to get creative with different fabrics and love that stretchy waistband, particularly comfortable!

    First time sewing

Posted by Lynn Bihm on 22nd Aug 2015

This was my first CKC pattern and also my first sewing project. For the most part it is a easy pattern to follow. I would have liked a better explanation about elastic pockets and especially a better picture for pinnining the cuffs. I am happy with the way they came out and will make some more in the future. I got several compliments from friends who do a lot of sewing.

    Quick and easy!

Love how quickly this little skirt goes together. The instructions are awesome and easy to follow, and none of the pieces needed to make this skirt are terribly big! Also love that it can be all knit, or combination of knit and woven.

Great pattern. If your wanting to start sewing knit this is a great pattern to practice on its easy and you can use all knit or a combo of both knit and woven. So in love with the funky look of this skirt and my DD loves it for its pockets.
