    Pockets are Amazing

I've made a bunch of these skirts. They turn out so cute and everyone likes pockets. This is a very fast and easy sew and a nice scrap buster.

    Wonderful pattern!

Posted by Heather on 29th Apr 2015

This is a wonderful pattern. Honestly I could make a dozen of these bubble shorts and still want to make more. I docked one star for what could just be user error. When I initially cut out the shorts, I did not realize I needed to cut mirror images. I looked throughout the pattern and did not see those instructions, though it is possible I overlooked it. Cutting out mirror images of each piece seems common sense, but the first time I make a pattern, I make it exactly according to directions and quite honestly, use very little common sense, LOL! That said, once I figured that out, this pattern became a breeze for me. I can whip up a pair of these in less than an hour now!
