Vale's Corset Gown Sizes 2T to 14 Kids and Dolls PDF Pattern
Vales corset gown is designed for costume, dance & photoshoot sessions. It comes with two bodice options (curved & sweet heart). There is front and side boning to provide structure. Included are instructions on how to apply different kinds of laces, appliqués & collar pieces. The back of the bodice is corset style, you can purchase a corset kit or use instructions provided to make your own. There are many strap options provided in the pattern; adjustable bra straps (you can purchase or upcycle), removable straps, fixed fabric straps & using your corset lacing as your straps too. The pattern provides measurements & instructions for full length skirt & optional over skirt along with lining & built in volume(or can be paired with a hoop skirt). This pattern is easy to play around with; make a flower for the waist line (see CKC blog for ideas), shorten or cut your overlay to be hi low, add horse hair braid or a lace trim to your hem (please note these details & tester photos shown are for inspiration with limited instructions on these suggestions. This pattern is rated at advanced due to some hand sewing involved, some prior knowledge of fancier type fabrics & working with laces/appliqués/boning. Regardless of the rating the pattern has step-by-step instructions with multiple photos per step making it easy to follow and construct your own one of a kind corset gown. You are welcome and encouraged to look to the ckc pattern group for any advice or questions you may have. This was the first time making a fancy princess type gown for most of the testers so don't let the finished product overwhelm you. If you think you can... you can.

Please note that PDF patterns differ from traditional sewing patterns, and not all PDF designers have the same style. We prefer to give measurements for simple rectangles instead of rectangular pattern pieces to save your time, paper, ink, and tape. You will only receive pattern pieces for curved portions of the garment, and you will follow the cutting chart for the remaining pieces.

Beautiful Gown with Easy to Follow Instructions
I'm a beginner to sewing and though this pattern is set for advanced, because of the detailed instructions I was able to figure it out. Thank you!
